I have been producing music for around 6 years, and grinding to try to "make it" for like 3, and I have come to the same conclusion. It got unhealthy and my life needed more balance, so I'm enjoying it while still working. I don't think the enjoyment in my life involves as much of "Making it big" than Working towards goals and improving in general.

Well solo there’s a huge amount of determination you really have to have in order to attain your goals. There’s people that are all over the work that are most likely going through terrible shit as well and still pursuing their music dream. I would say it’s a sense of craziness you have to have in order to have a vision and stay locked in on it. Once you find the time to make music. Literally block out all distractions and put yourself in a deep space of isolation where you can ONLY lock in on your goals. If that’s the hard part then it’s up to you to figure out how to get there honestly. People are put in many different situations they can’t control so we just have to play the cards that were dealt to us to the best of our ability. You won’t always be inspired and you won’t always have the motivation to make something crazy but if you show up daily to the task at hand and really try your best, you can’t lose.

Coming from the rock world it blows my mind how dependent a lot of this style is dependent on a sample that someone else already made . I get the point of the video though , definitely agree. Don’t overthink and just keep pushing on , quick decisions , go with first instinct.
@@nickwatland4215 shit sometimes you use samples sometimes you don’t, I cooked 2 from scratch on here as well just to show that it doesn’t matter what you do. As long as you feel like your improving is what matters, not even being “dependent” when a producer can make a in depth sample any day 😂🙏
